Treasure Pond
Every 4 hours the spawn pond spews prizes. Hook them with a vanilla rod before they land.
Six times a day the pond on the west side of spawn starts spewing prizes. Loot falls from the sky over the water: hook it with a vanilla fishing rod before it lands, then reel it in to keep it.

At the pond during an active event (01:00, 05:00, 09:00, 13:00, 17:00 or 21:00 UTC). Stand on the bank with several falling prize items and their name tags in view, other players casting, and the hologram reading "Pond active now!". Third person.

The pond runs every 4 hours, every day, starting at 01:00 UTC. Each event lasts 5 minutes.

- 5 minutes before: chat says "Treasure Pond starts in 5m!" and a countdown bar appears at the top of your screen.
- During: the bar shows the time left and "Type /warp pond".
- Any time: the pond hologram shows "Next Pond in: …", and

The pond hologram at spawn always shows a live countdown to the next pond, so you don't have to convert from UTC.How to take part

Get a vanilla rod
Use
/kit fishingrodfor a free basic Fishing Rod (10-minute cooldown). Custom rods don't work here. - 2
Go to the pond
Type
/warp pond, or use the Server Menu > Teleport > Treasure Pond. It works from any server. - 3
Stand close
Stay within 24 blocks of the pond and no more than 5 blocks above the water.

Hook a falling prize
Cast at a prize in the air. A hit latches it to your hook for 5 seconds.

Reel it in
Use the rod again while it is latched. The prize is yours and the actionbar shows what you won, for example "Treasure Pond: +$25,000".
Rules
- Only vanilla fishing rods catch pond prizes.
- You can't go into the pond water; you get pushed back to the bank. Frost Walker ice is removed.
- Fishing rods don't work anywhere else at spawn ("Fishing rods are disabled here.").
- A prize that touches the water is gone.
- A new prize drops every half second to a second, with up to 50 in the air at once.

Legendary prizes, Builder Wands and the Chicken and Sheep Spawners are announced on every server: "[Pond] Name caught Zombie Spawner (3 days) at the treasure pond!". You can hide these announcements in /settings; it doesn't affect your own prizes.
During the Halloween Event, about 1 in 20 falling prizes is a pumpkin worth 1 Candy.

Right after reeling in a Legendary or broadcast prize: the actionbar "Treasure Pond: +…" and the gold "[Pond] … caught … at the treasure pond!" chat line both visible. First person.

Outside an event, stand at the east edge of the pond after `/warp pond` and look west across the water at the hologram. "Next Pond in: …" must be readable. Daytime.

Tips
- Be on the bank before the start. The 5-minute warning gives you time to grab a rod and warp.
- Aim at prizes high in the air so you have time to latch and reel.
- Legendary prizes are about 1 in 90 drops, so stay for the full 5 minutes.
