Automation Blocks

Automation blocks collect, sell and compress items for you while your island is loaded. Combine them and a farm runs itself: drops are vacuumed up, sold and paid out without you touching a chest.

How timed machines work

• Each item says "Expires: X after placed". The countdown only starts once it's placed.
• Pause in a machine's menu stops both the machine and its timer.
• Pick Up from the menu gives the item back with the time it had left, plus its contents and any unclaimed money.
• An expired machine stops working but can still be picked up. Expired items can't be placed again.
• Machines can't sit right next to a OneBlock: leave one block of space.
• Trench tools and mining enchants never break them.

Chunk Hopper

Vacuums up every dropped item in its whole chunk (16x16, full height) and puts it in the container below it.

   Hold it and a cyan outline shows the chunk it will cover.

   Place it on a container

   Put it on top of a chest, barrel, Sell Chest or other container (Build permission).

   Let it collect

   Items dropped anywhere in that chunk go into the container below straight away, plus a sweep every 20 seconds.

   Manage it

   Use it to open the Chunk Hopper menu: status, time left, output and items collected, with Pause/Resume and Pick Up Chunk Hopper.

• Chunk Hoppers have no island limit and don't count toward Hopper Capacity.
• If the container below is full, items stay on the ground. A stack is only picked up if all of it fits.
• It never outputs into another Chunk Hopper.

Sell Chest

Sells everything sellable inside it every 5 seconds at Sell Shop prices, and keeps the money for you to claim. Unsellable items stay in the chest.

• A normal tap opens the chest. Sneak + Use opens the Sell Chest menu: status, time left, money waiting and lifetime sales.
• Claim $X pays whoever presses it. Pick Up Sell Chest claims any waiting money for you first.
• Holding a hopper or Chunk Hopper skips the menu so you can place it on top.
• Keep one block of space from other chests and from your OneBlock.
• Personal sell boosters don't apply to Sell Chest sales.
• Counts toward your Storage limit. Sales count toward Island Quests.

Auto Craft Chest

Compresses ores and gems into blocks every 5 seconds. Comes from the Eternal Bundle (3, 7 or 14 days).

• Recipes run top to bottom each pass, so nuggets become ingots and then blocks in the same pass.
• Leftovers below 9 (or 4) stay put. If the chest is full, crafted blocks drop on top of it.
• Place it against a block with empty space beside it, one block away from other chests and your OneBlock.
• Sneak + Use opens its menu (status, time left, crafted count, Pause/Resume, Pick Up). Counts toward your Storage limit.

Copper Golem Chest

As in vanilla, putting a carved or lit pumpkin on any copper block builds a copper golem and turns that block into a copper chest. On islands that chest counts toward your Storage limit, so the build is blocked if you're already full.

Copper golems are protected by the mob cap: they're only removed when the island is over twice its cap.
