Bazaar

Buy and sell resources instantly, or set your own price with buy and sell orders.

The Bazaar is an exchange for resources. Buy or sell instantly at the best price other players are offering, or post an order at your own price and let it fill over time. Open it with /bz or the Bazaar NPC at spawn.

The Bazaar on the Resources category

Run /bz. Select the Resources category in the left sidebar so the item groups (Minerals & Fuels etc.) and the Money/Orebits currency button are visible. Use a busy time so items show stock.

Categories

The left sidebar has All Items (sortable by Stock High–Low, Name A–Z or Name Z–A) plus six categories. Inside each, items are grouped, for example Minerals & Fuels, Stones, Woods, Crops and seeds, Mob drops, Wool and Concrete.

  • Resources
  • Nature
  • Food & Farms
  • Combat
  • Build & Tech
  • Phases

Money and Orebits books

Every item has two separate order books: one priced in Money and one in Orebits Orebits. Use the currency button to switch. Orders in one book never fill against the other.

Instant buy and sell

Each item page shows its Instant Buy and Instant Sell price, the top buy and sell orders, recent buy/sell volume, and the last and average price.

  1. 1

    Open an item

Pick it from a category or search for it.

  2. 2

Choose Instant Buy or Instant Sell

Instant Buy takes the cheapest sell orders. Instant Sell fills the highest buy orders.

  3. 3

    Pick a quantity and confirm

If the price gets 5% or more worse before you confirm, a Price Changed screen lets you review it first.

An item page with Instant Buy, Instant Sell and order buttons

In /bz open Iron Ingot (or another busy item) in the Money book. Capture the item page showing Instant Buy/Instant Sell prices, top orders, volume, Last/Average price, and the Buy Order / Sell Order buttons.

Buy and sell orders

Want a better price than the instant one? Place an order and wait for another player to fill it.

  1. 1

Press Buy Order or Sell Order

    On the item's page.

  2. 2

    Set a unit price

Type your own, or use a shortcut: Current, Current + $0.10, or 5% of spread.

  3. 3

    Set the amount

Up to 2,304 items. Toggle Partial fills to allow or block filling bit by bit.

  4. 4

    Confirm

For a buy order, the Money is set aside. For a sell order, the items are taken from your inventory.

  5. 5

    Claim

You're notified when an order fills, and again when you join if anything is waiting. Open it in Your Orders and press Claim.

  • Your Orders shows each open order as x/y filled.
  • Cancel Order cancels it and returns whatever is left, along with anything already filled.
  • You can't have a buy and a sell order on the same item at once. Cancel the opposite order first.

Your Orders with partly filled orders

Place one buy order and one sell order on different items, wait for partial fills, then open /bz orders. Capture the list showing x/y filled.

Selling your whole inventory

Sell Inventory sells everything eligible you're carrying, in one of two modes:

  • Instant Sell: sells straight into the current buy orders.
  • As Sell Orders: you price each item type in turn; Skip Item Type leaves one out.

Under Settings → Sell Inventory Exclusions, mark item types to Keep so they're never sold this way.

Note

Only plain items qualify. Anything with a custom name, lore or special data shows Not eligible for Bazaar; list those on the Item Market.

Trade history

Trade History (/bz history) lists every fill you've made: bought or sold, quantity and unit price.

Tip

Compare the Bazaar's Instant Sell price with the sell shop before dumping resources. When players are buying, the Bazaar often pays more.
