Upgrades & Limits
Island bank, island level, every upgrade with costs, and all island caps.
Your team grows the island together: everyone pays into the Island Bank, which buys island levels and the money part of Island Upgrades. Upgrades raise the caps shown on the Island Limits screen.

Island Bank
A shared money account for the island. Open it from Server Menu > Island (or Economy) > Island Bank. It shows the bank balance and your own balance.
- Deposit, Deposit Half, Deposit All: every role can deposit by default.
- Withdraw, Withdraw Half, Withdraw All: Admin and above by default.
- The bank pays for island levels and the $ part of upgrades. Orebits and tokens come from elsewhere (see below).
Island Level
Island Level is bought, not earned from blocks: there is no island-worth or block-value system. Open Server Menu > Island (or Economy) > Island Level (Leader, Co-Leader and Admin by default).
- The screen shows your level, the Cost for Next Level and the Island Bank balance.
- Level Up Island ($X) spends that amount from the bank and adds one level. Each level costs more than the one before.
- A message names who levelled up the island, and big milestones are announced to the whole server.
- Island levels are used for the monthly island ranking on the Leaderboards.
Top Islands
/is top shows the top 10 islands by level, /is top bank by bank balance. Also in Server Menu > Economy > Top Islands.
Island Level Up with an affordable Level Up button
As Leader with enough money in the island bank for the next level, open Server Menu > Island > Island Level. The body (Island Level, Cost for Next Level, Island Bank) and the green 'Level Up Island ($X)' button must be visible.

Island Upgrades
Open Server Menu > Island > Island Upgrades (Leader and Co-Leader by default; hidden while visiting), or tap a row in Island Limits. Each row shows the current value, the next value and its cost. Tapping one opens Confirm Upgrade.
| Cost part | Paid from |
|---|---|
| Money ($) | The Island Bank, not your wallet |
| Orebits | Your own Orebits (the player pressing the button) |
| Quest Tokens | The island's Quest Token balance, earned from Island Quests |
| Island Expansion Token | Your own tokens, bought in the Store |
The Island Upgrades list with costs
As Leader on an island with a few upgrades bought, open Server Menu > Island > Island Upgrades. Show the Island Bank line and as many rows as fit, ideally one showing (MAX). Take a second capture of a Confirm Upgrade screen whose cost has Money, Orebits and Quest Tokens if possible.

| Orebits | 10,450 |
| Quest Tokens | 5,815 |
Island size
Every island starts at 64x64 and is 384 blocks tall at every size. Each size step costs one Island Expansion Token (Store > Islands, 1,690 Minecoins each). Tokens belong to the player and are spent on whichever island you upgrade.
| Tier | Size | Cost |

Tip
Walk into the island border with Allow Upgrade permission: if you have a token, Island Upgrades opens straight away; if not, the token offer pops up.Island Limits
Server Menu > Island > Island Limits, or /is limits, shows every cap at a glance. You must be on your own active island. Rows are green below 80% of the cap, yellow from 80%, and red when full. Tap a row to buy its upgrade; Refresh recounts the island.
| Limit | Start | Max | Raised by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Containers | 64 | 1,024 | Storage Capacity |
| Hoppers | 16 | 512 | Hopper Capacity |
| Spawners | 10 | 400 | Spawner Capacity |
| Mobs | 300 | 825 | Mob Cap |
| OneBlocks | 1 | 4 | OneBlock Count |
| Minions | 5 | 5 | Can't be raised |
| Members | 5 | No limit | Store purchases |
| Visitors at once | 4 | 12 | Owner's rank |
When you hit a cap, an Island Limit Reached title tells you which upgrade to buy.
Island Limits with green, yellow and red rows
On your own active island, ideally with one cap full (e.g. OneBlocks 1/1) and one above 80% (e.g. spawners 9/10), open /is limits. Capture the whole screen showing coloured rows and the Refresh button.

How the mob cap removes mobs
- When an island goes over its mob cap, spawner mobs are removed first, then other plain mobs, then mobs holding items (their items drop).
- Never removed: named, tamed and leashed mobs.
- Only removed above twice the cap: villagers, zombie villagers, wandering traders, iron, copper and snow golems, and allays.
Entity and special-object limits
These have their own fixed limits and don't count toward the mob cap.
| Thing | Limit per island |
|---|---|
| Armor stands | 96 |
| Paintings | 96 |
| Minecarts (all kinds) | 48 |
| Boats and rafts | 48 |
| Placeable Texts | 20 |
| Teleporter pairs | 5 |
| Parkour courses | 5 |
| Giveaway Chests | 1 |
| Spleef arenas | 1 |
| All special objects combined | 30 |
No chests on pack animals
Chest storage on donkeys, mules and llamas is disabled on islands. Any found wearing a chest are removed together with the items inside. The island border
- The edge of your island shows as a translucent forcefield wall. Change its opacity (0 turns it off) and how close you must be to see it in Settings > Island Border.
- Players can't walk past the border, and mobs outside it are pulled back.
- You can't place blocks outside the border.
- Fall into the void and you're returned to the island spawn (visitors: the public warp location).
- A piston that pushes blocks over the border explodes.
- Double chests and beds can't straddle an island chunk boundary; move them one block over.
The forcefield wall at the island border
Stand on a bridge built to the edge of a 64x64 island, facing outward, a few blocks from the border so the translucent forcefield wall fills most of the frame. Daytime, first person, default border opacity.
