Chest Shops
Turn a chest on your island into a shop that sells to, or buys from, other players.
A chest shop is a chest with a sign on your island that trades with visitors automatically. It can sell items to players or buy items from them, always for Money.

On an island, set up a single chest shop selling Diamonds at a round price. Stand in first person facing the sign so 'Selling', the item and '$X each' are readable. Daytime.

Setting up a shop

Place a single chest
On your island, with free space on one side for the sign. Double chests don't work.

Run /chestshop
Or Economy → Create Chest Shop in the Server Menu.

Click the chest
Click the side where the sign should go. The action bar guides you; sneak-click to cancel. You have 30 seconds.

Pick the item
Choose the item on the Select Shop Item screen.

Set mode and price
Choose Sell to players or Buy from players, then the price per item.

Stock it
Fill the chest with stock (selling shop) or deposit funds (buying shop).

Run /chestshop, click a chest side and pick an item. Capture the Create Chest Shop form showing the Mode dropdown and Price per item field.

Buying and selling at a shop
- Click the sign to open Buy from Shop or Sell to Shop.
- Choose a quantity (up to 64 per transaction) and confirm.
- A buying shop pays from its own Chest Shop Balance. If the owner hasn't deposited enough, it can't buy.
Managing your shop
Click your own shop to open its manage menu. It shows the mode, item, price and Chest Shop Balance.

The owner's chest shop manage menu
As the shop owner, click your shop sign. Capture the manage menu with Mode, Item, Price, Chest Shop Balance and all buttons visible.

Collect from every shop at once
Demigods can run /withdrawall (or Profile → Withdraw Chest Shop Earnings) to collect from every chest shop on the island in one go. If you're not in the islands world, it offers to take you there.
Permissions and limits
Island members need the Manage Chest Shops island permission to create or manage shops. Set it per role in Island Team.
The number of shops depends on the island owner's rank:

Tip
Sell wands can't empty shop chests, so your stock is safe from visitors with wands.
