Chest Shops
Turn a chest on your island into a shop that sells to, or buys from, other players.
A chest shop is a chest with a sign on your island. It trades with visitors for you, even when you are busy. It can sell items to players or buy items from them, for Money.

Make a shop

Place a single chest
On your island. Leave space on one side for the sign. Double chests do not work.

Start the setup
Type
/chestshop. Or open the Server Menu (the Server Menu item in your last hotbar slot, or/menu), click Economy, then Create Chest Shop. - 3
Click the chest
Click the side where the sign should go. You have 30 seconds. Sneak and click to cancel.

Pick the item
Choose what the shop trades.

Pick the mode and price
Choose Sell to players or Buy from players. Then type the price for one item.

Fill it
Put the items in the chest. For a buying shop, add Money with Deposit Funds instead.
Use someone's shop
Click the sign. Choose how many (up to 64) and confirm. A shop that buys from players pays from its own Money, so it only works if the owner put Money in.
Manage your shop
Click your own shop's sign. You can see its Money and change it:

Demigod players can collect from every shop at once with /withdrawall. Or open the Server Menu, click Profile, then Withdraw Chest Shop Earnings.
How many shops you can have
It depends on the island owner's rank.
