Armor Sets & Weapons

Armor set bonuses, Monster Island weapon effects, Multitools and repairing.

Some armor gives you a bonus for each piece you wear, and a bigger full-set bonus when you wear all four. Monster Island weapons and tools have a built-in effect too.

You don't need to do anything to switch them on. Just wear or hold the item. The item's text tells you its bonus.

Like custom enchants, these bonuses work on islands and Monster Islands. At spawn they only work inside the PvP warzone.

Monster Island armor

These sets drop from mobs on Monster Islands. Every piece is as tough as diamond and lasts four times longer.

Premium and event sets

Armor from bundles, the store and events also has full-set bonuses. Older sets like Demon, Angel, Phoenix, Divine, Void, Lunar and Spirit Sakura list theirs on the item. The newest ones:

Candle Maker	Halloween Candy Store	Hits build wax (+2% damage each, up to 5). Double-tap Sneak to spend it on one big hit that also heals 1 heart.
Flesh Eater	Halloween raid bosses	Part of the damage monsters deal you is stored. Hit the same monster back to heal some of it.
Ghost / Gold Ghost	Spooky Bundle	Hits echo for extra damage. Double-tap Sneak: take 50% less damage for 3s, and your next hit bursts for 200%.
Pumpkin / Gold Pumpkin	Spooky Bundle	+25% damage that splashes nearby. Every 5 hits stores a pumpkin; double-tap Sneak to throw them.
Crystalline Core	Mecha Bundle (no longer sold)	Resistance I and Absorption II. Below 40% health, heal to full (every 6 min).
Cosmic Ignition	Mecha Bundle (no longer sold)	+30% damage. Every 5th hit blasts nearby mobs. Kills heal you.

Sets that are no longer sold can still be bought from other players on the Item Market.

Weapon and tool effects

Abyss Hammer	Nearby enemies take 25% of the hit
Abyss Brutal Sword	+20% damage, but 15% slower while held
Abyss Scythe	Dash a little when you swing
Desert tools	A little faster while held
Desert Shield	A little faster while held in your main hand
Desert Bow	Short Speed boost while drawing
Desert Hammer, Mace, Staff	Sprinting hits give a short Speed boost
Desert Dagger	Dash forward when you swing
Desert Sword	+15% damage while sprinting, plus a short Speed boost
Desert Greatsword	Sprinting hits also hit nearby enemies for 35%
Frost Sword	The lower your health, the harder you hit (up to about +60%)
Frost Axe	+25% damage, but you take 10% more
Frost Hammer	Strong hits cost 2 health and deal +75% (never takes your last heart)
Frost Bow	+25% arrow damage, but you take 15% more
Frost Crossbow	+15% damage and pierces 1 extra target, but you take 15% more
Frost Shield (offhand)	You take 10% more, but getting hit powers up your next hit by +35%
Frost tools	Every 20s, breaking a block costs 2 health and gives Haste I for 4s

Most Frost gear makes you take more damage while you hold it. Wear defensive armor enchants like Damage Cap or Undying Will with it.

Multitool

A Multitool is every tool in one: it mines, chops, digs and shears. Get one from bundles, the store or kits.

Repairing gear

Repairing is a rank perk. With a rank, you can repair from the menu:

Open the Server Menu
Use the Server Menu (Click Me) item in your last hotbar slot, or type /menu.

Go to Profile
Tap the Profile tab at the top.

Tap Repair Items
Pick the item in your hand or everything you carry.
