remove the chunk separator in the claims

The recent update requiring a gap between claimed chunks seems to fix one problem but creates a more serious one. Many people play with friends and combine their 25 available chunks to build a city together; there is no point in me buying new chunks if I can't place them next to my friends. It leaves a gap in the middle of my base, and anyone visiting my city warp can break blocks there. So, I can't build anything in that chunk for fear it will be destroyed, yet I can't claim it either.

Totally agree, this change should be taken in February 27th, not now that all main irl city places are overcrowded with others chunks, and claiming in know places is heavily cooked Some people are putting one claimed chunk in a 3x3 chunk radius massively to avoid others to put claims in regions I have a ton of claims with my city and other 2 different cities from 2 alt accounts. All 3 I paid real money for the chunks, and I can’t put them together, I have 2 gaps between my domains. Thank I have locked the large city which surrounds this to avoid scammers or randoms to destroy or invade these 2 chunks Also, I’m caring a large city with many pple, and I can’t claim an abandoned chunk in a good place that could be intended to other team member. I need that 5 different unknown people unclaim 8 chunks to be able to claim that. Think the dev change should be reversed and they should ask about the best way of doing chunk claim changes but without affecting players

Btw, staff response made to me today about this issue 50min ago: “Hello agent vegas 47, Thank you contacting our inpp support team to report this issue. Unfortunately at this time, the chunk buffer will stay in place and there is not currently a way to change the issue you are experiencing. My suggestion is that you try and take this issue to the suggestions page of the website and gather peer support to seek some type of resolution that management can agree with. https://inpvp.net/community/suggestions Staff are the people that answer tickets and we unfortunately have no control over this issue or influence when it comes to implementing changes. Have a great day.” Whoever ends up speaking next week on next Inpvp stage must expose this issue. I hasn’t paid thousands of irl$ on claims to be unable to use them just for a wrong decision, I know that done with good intentions, but that it’s causing more problems than solutions to the issue

Thanks for posting the response I tried to get on Discord but I couldn't get the link to work.. I was right at the turning point in our build to buy claims so we could swap out our interactive and locked areas..and possibly secure a perimeter...I'm so glad I didn't bc I would be like you and not be able to use them the way I wanted ... I would be absolutely livid about the change had I done that. I don't mind paying for entertainment... But I've been reluctant to invest in an seemingly ever rule rotating game in which major changes are taking place that as you stated should have been implemented at reset. I'm really just waiting to see whether they at least a co-op option for claims... I think it will decide whether I move forward or move on

So, basically to sum all my story up, I created a ticket stating this issue, all the response was “make a thread in forums so you gather support”. Make another ticket showing the large support im gathering, staff says me: “staff is unable to act” “Ok, pass me to management”, I said. After being passed to management, staff responds me in 10 mins and says me that management knows and I need to open threads in forums. So after that response, I asked management if staff guy followed properly the chain of command, and if management ordered him to act and response like that, and they basically said: “yes, we did” Well, yesterday Sunday received the chance to talk in the weekly stage, on the first round of speakers, but unlucky me was unable to speak for mic issues, and before the mic issue, Pizza straightly responded to me, without me even saying a single word, that the chunk buffer isn’t going to be changed or removed In conclusion, don’t unclaim chunks near other guys cities

i get why they did it but id rather be next to everyone than have those chunk gaps

To make matters worse, they didn't think it through: if the corners of three different players overlap, it turns into chaos, wasting 5 chunks.

By the way, you can hit like to make the request more visible.

it should be if your coop at their city you can claim a chunk there

USFX017USFX01748d ago

That's exactly what I thought, that if the people are your coop, it doesn't matter.

Thanks to everyone who is promoting the petition

I accidentally unclaimed my chunk, now I can't reclaim it bruh.

USFX017USFX01748d ago

The same thing happened to me in the middle of my base, all because my friend built it with me.

Ngl, this is even worse than them ruining Somme players fighting technique using /hat, this was just so they don’t have to deal with tickets dismantling others claims next to others builds xd

DireFoxx09DireFoxx0948d ago

Me and another players build has been entirely delayed because of this :(

USFX017USFX01748d ago

They should have at least included the condition that if they are co-op, the chunks can be combined.
