Prison Reset

Prison is getting a much-needed overhaul!

After months of development, we are preparing to launch the largest Prison update Mineville has seen. This update introduces completely new progression systems, new activities, improved PvP, new events, upgraded progression paths, and a huge amount of new content designed to keep players progressing for a long time.

This is not just a balance update. Nearly every major system in Prison has been expanded, improved, or rebuilt from the ground up.

The top 5 richest players, top 5 plot owners, and the top 5 prestiged players will become legends on Prison Season 2. Winners selected June 17th 2PM EST.

Latest Minecraft Version

Prison will be launching on the newest version of Minecraft with full support for all new blocks, items, and features. Everything will be up to date from day one.

26 Mines to Progress Through and Prestige

Progress through 26 unique mines as you work your way from the lowest ranks all the way to the top.

Each mine introduces new blocks and increased earning potential.

Prestiging has been overhauled and expanded to feel more relevant and rewarding.
New bonuses and rewards have been introduced to encourage you to progress as much as possible!

Private Mines

This highly requested feature will finally be coming to Mineville Prison!
Have your own personal mine to customize your mining experience. You will be able to choose which mine tier you wanna use, depending on what you have unlocked, change the look of your mine, and upgrade your mine with various buffs to improve profits and efficiency.

The private mine is not only for mining! Decorate your mine with custom furniture and collectibles, and invite your friends to hang out.

Minions

Minions will be placeable inside your private mine and automatically generate money for you. Upgrade your minions and customize their appearance with different looks. Minions will help you to continue progressing while you are engaging in non-mining activities.

Custom Farming System

Grow custom crops with unique effects and bonuses. These crops will provide you with various buffs and boosters to improve your mining efficiency and fighting power. Crops can only be grown in the free world, which you unlock after you prestige the first time.

Prison Cells

Rent your own prison cell and establish your business.

Use your cell to create Chest Shops to trade with other players, and build your own marketplace. Larger and more desirable cells will become highly sought-after locations. Cells will require an upkeep cost, so make sure you are able to pay it, or else someone might claim your cell!

The prison cells, along with the private mines, will be a replacement for the plot system

Updated Enchantment System & Rebalanced Custom Enchantments

The gear enchantment system has been overhauled. Prices and requirements have been updated to make progress feel smoother.

Various new pickaxe enchantments will be introduced to further improve the upgrading of your pickaxe.

The Custom Enchantments on the Premium Items have been rebalanced for Prison.
We will continue to regularly update the enchantments as needed.

20+ Brand New Pickaxes

Unlock and collect over 20 unique pickaxes.

Each pickaxe offers its own unique abilities and appearance. Some are focused on efficiency, others will find you rare items, and some are simply designed to blow up mines! New pickaxes will be regularly introduced for players to collect and enjoy.

PvP Mine

For players who enjoy risk and competition, the PvP Mine offers some of the best rewards available.

Mine valuable resources while staying alert for other players looking to take you down.

Last Man Standing Event

Enter the arena and fight 100+ other players and be the last one standing!

Everyone will fight using the same set of gear until only one player remains. The arena will continue to shrink, so hiding will not be possible.
The last player alive will receive rare rewards for winning the event.

Mine Events

Mining is now more exciting than ever.

Random Mine Events will occur while mining, providing temporary bonuses and opportunities for rare rewards.

Some events include:

• Lucky Block Mining Events

New events will be added, and seasonal events with limited-time rewards will be available from time to time.

Prison Riot Event

During the Riot Event, powerful Prison Wardens will invade the PvP Zone. Work together or fight for yourself as players attempt to defeat these dangerous enemies and claim valuable rewards.

Fight Club

Enter Fight Club and challenge other players to bare-handed combat.

Build the longest win streak, earn rewards the more you win, and dominate the arena.

Completely Updated Spawn & PvP Arena

Both Spawn and the PvP Arena have been rebuilt.

The new layouts improve navigation, accessibility, and overall gameplay while providing a more modern experience that better fits the future direction of Prison.

Updated Bundles System

A new Bundle System brings rotating reward bundles to Prison. Open bundles to earn cosmetics, pickaxes, premium items, and more. Same bundle system as EarthSMP and MegaSMP.

Updated Item Market & Orders System

The Item Market has been updated and now includes the full Orders System, allowing players to place buy orders for items they want and sell items more efficiently than ever before. It will be the same system as the one used on EarthSMP and MegaSMP

Other Updates and Quality of Life Improvements

With this reset, prison will receive many of the improvements and updated systems that have been introduced on EarthSMP and MegaSMP.
Some of these features include /trade, /duel, updated cosmetics system, quests, and much more!

Going forward, Prison will continue to receive these regular updates just like EarthSMP and MegaSMP.

Orebits Integration

Orebits are now integrated into Prison. If you have been earning Orebits on other servers, they carry over.

Legends System

Compete for monthly leaderboard positions and exclusive rewards.

Like on MegaSMP, the monthly leaderboard will be based on your Crew level. Level up your crew with money and reach the top of the leaderboard before the month ends, and the leaderboards are reset.

Reset Vault Important Dates

Before we get into what is new, here is what you need to know about the reset:

• June 12th, 2:00 PM EST - Reset Vault opens. Start placing your items.

• June 17th (Wednesday), 2:00 PM EST - Reset Vault closes. This is your deadline to deposit items.

• July 3rd, 2:00 PM EST - Reset Vault reopens so you can retrieve your items.

Use /resetvault to access it. Only items with "Reset Vault" or "Premium Item" in their lore are eligible. If an item does not have that tag, it cannot be stored. Do not wait until the last minute.

What will transfer over to this new server?

• Ranks, titles, wardrobe, pins, RVIs (bundle items like New Year sword), patron ranks, spend, gifting stats, extra purchased member slots, unlimited fly, and rename.

• Any bundle item with Reset Vault or Premium Item in the lore

What will not transfer over?

• Anything not mentioned above. So teams, autocrafters, autochests, chunk hoppers, money, and inventories.
